Okay, it’s like this. My kid is trying to win tickets to a concert of this year’s “boy band.” Keep in mind she’s 14, so what does she know? Not much, of course.
Anyway, whoever gets the most other people to click on this link -
http://www.q102.com/common/shareme/index.php?linkid=fyd8mygrpm34rrmawu4eth8jvn
Will win tickets to the show. Therefore, if you really have nothing else to do, then click on this link above and let my kid have some false hope that she’ll actually have the most clicks to win.
Just don’t tell her that I already got tickets for her to go to the show. Regardless, she would love it to get more clicks because she doesn’t know I already have the tickets.
The question was asked, and YES – i will suffer through going to the show with her.
and – to help even further – you can go back and click again as long as it’s at least 15 minutes apart.
Thanks again.
Rich.

Hi Rich,
You get major ‘Good Dad’ points for this. I came, i saw, I clicked. Good job buying tickets anyway. Smart man.
Aloha,
Doug
thank you sir.
Clicks, and tickets? That’s what Dads do, right? Lucky little girl. Hope she enjoys the show:)
Hey Rose already now got 52 clicks..i clicked too
what a wonderful gesture Rich, and you have already got tickets..you are such a lovely Dad
oh i hope she finds that out and gives you the biggest hug ever
believe it or not, just found this today. thanks for reading. sorry i didn’t see it sooner.
Hi Rich, I’ve clicked. I love this post. It is glorious things like this which make the world go around. Top marks for being a great parent.
I’m sure you get at least equal marks. Thanks
Thank you, I put my heart and soul into doing my best as a parent. I would love to see your daughter’s reaction when you give her the tickets.
Click, fingers croseed, job done. Good luck!!
Thanks a bunch
click away and do tell… are you attending said boy band concert as well? Great post…top notch Dad stuff!
Oh good question. Yes I am.
now you really get the award for Fabulous Dad! You must be a Back Street Boy fan or Insync Fan… come on admit it
Thanks but not a fan of the boy bands. Classic rock for me.
I’ve clicked too.. my daughter is beyond the 1D stage and now takes herself to concerts… she’s 17 so you’ve only got 3 more years to go!!
Last summer I kept hearing about someone named Greyson chance. Now it’s one direction. Oh well
Oh Lord, I’m so happy i’m not a dad. I like the duplicitous game though. At least the free-ticket extravaganza will keep your little lady occupied, if not furious when she finds out she’s got a lock. I clicked, but i’d rather send you daughter to a Cold Play concert. I can see the yawns from here.
Thanks a bunch. I’d see coldplay. Pleasant sound and the get unfair criticism.
Serious Dad point here, my friend. She now has 60 clicks. Good job!
Waiting for the wail of misery over not winning before you give her the tickets?
Thanks a bunch. And yes.
Evil to the core. I like it.
Clicked and happy to do so. You’re a good Dad
Thanks a bunch.
Thanks a bunch. …
Makes me miss my daddy. I’m sure that, if he were still alive, that even at 27 he would buy me tickets. Dads are awesome like that.
awww that’s cute. i bet he would.
Aw you’re a good dad, I wish my dad had helped me out when I tried to get New Kids On the Block to play at my high school!
i remember when the back street boys were popular, and they sang the national anthem for the NHL hockey all-star game. they got booed, which isn’t a surprise, but it’s a shame that the NHL did not know it’s audience enough to know that its fans would not be into the back street boys.
Clicked … because it’s what mom’s would do too. I hope she gets them!
thanks miss.
And that’s what dads do…I clicked
thanks.
Because it’s what GREAT dads do!
aww thanks miss.
Aww…that’s sweet
and so are you for saying it. thanks.
Yeah…I know how sweet I am
Way to go Rich! Your daughter is very lucky to have you!
and me to have her. thanks.
Right, I’ve done my click-duty. Where’s my lollipop?
in … no, can’t say that. in the mail. yeah, that works.
Alright, I shall consider this a virtual lollipop thank you presi. Have fun at the boy-band show. Your kid is lucky to have such an understanding Dad. Mine wouldn’t have bothered.
Done! She now has 79 clicks. Awesome Dad.
thanks miss
I think fathers are among the sweetest people ever found on the planet!
fortunately, we all have that same potential.
Unfortunately, this IP (68.46.131.62) has been used within the last 15 minutes. The click has not been counted.
I tried only once but
it wouldn’t let me vote even once.
good luck – hope everyone has a wonderful time !
thanks for trying. happy friday.
I clicked but am now in terror of what’s to come with teenage-hood. Right now I’m only faced with pleas for tickets to the Legend of Zelda symphony.
i’m in for zelda!
Way to go, Dad. You are awesome.
and you too.
Another click.
thanks jm.
Awww… Good Daddy!!!!
It was all a phony post just to get you to say that.
I’m glad you succeeded. ; )
Beware next trick post!
I remember a certain artist that came to town when I was around 12 that i would have DIED to see. I will gladly click your link several times today and I must say you are the coolest Dad ever!
That is a wonderful thing for you to say. Thanks
u sound like a great dad to do this for your kid, voted so hope she gets one more ticket in that case…
thanks..sir.
LOL…
You get the ” Longest Ahhhhhhhh of the Day” award. Clicked twice so far, she’s up to 106. Cudos papa!
thanks a bunch….
She’ll never forget you did this for her. Good dad points coming your way.
Sweet
clicking away…
Super thanks.
I clicked it. Hope she enjoys the concert, you’ll definitely get brownie points for that!
points aren’t the goal, but i’ll take them. thanks.
Father’s Day is coming soon…she will most certainly nominate you for Father Of The Year!
and she’ll be kid of the year too
How cool!
You are a really cool and good Dad!
Awww. Thanks.
Rose is at 224 clicks after my good deed!
hey, that’s terrific that you would help. i should edit the post though because the contest is over. but thanks very much because it truly is the thought that counts.
I just saw that. I went back after 15 minutes to vote again and read more about it. That’s when I noticed that it ended on May 27. Oh well. Late to the party again…………….. lol
doesn’t matter. intentions count.
Hey Rich! Good job.Just saw tis and clicked.Hope im not too late.Best Wishes!
yes it’s too late, but the important part is that you wanted to help. thanks very much.
You’re a very interesting one! I need to be on time next week. Wish you a great week…will soon give you the other part of the roast Tilapia!
looking forward to it. thanks. interesting? i’ll take it. better than what i usually get called.
Yes interesting for sure! In life it’s got to be mixed grill-all the time Lol! Regards.
good job Dad! Many years ago, I took my daughter and a friend ( 15 ) to an EMO concert — if I wasn’t there they would have ended up in the mosh pit. Thank goodness for balconies. But we had fun!
thanks for the like!
nothing to thanks me for. i had the easy part. you had to write it.
