i currently have a kodak easyshare Z712 IS. 7.1 megapixels. It’s not a special camera, but it works so far. I need a new camera because this one isn’t great in low light situations. i take most pictures on the “candlelight” setting because the colors are a little warmer.
i don’t use photoshop or anything because i like the pictures to be as “real” as possible. i know there are amazing things you can do with photo software, but that’s not my interest. my interest is in the reality of the scene. it’s kind of like why i like the plain dunkin’ donuts or baked potatoes without butter or maybe fish without lemon.

put the mouse pointer over “fotos” but don’t click. wait for menu to drop, then click on the categories.
I so agree with the no photoshop aspect. I love to take pictures and prefer to have my work judged by what I took, not how I edited it. If a picture can’t stand on its own, is it really good enough.
