|Romney: ‘Inappropriate’ for Obama to Politicize Bin Laden’s Death
In a completely inappropriate display of politicizing and event, Mitt Romney pretended to be a regular guy by carrying a few pizzas into a firehouse while shamelessly appearing with Mayor Giuliani in order to politicize the 11th anniversary of 9/11 and criticizing Pres. Obama for politicizing the assassination of Osama Bin Laden. Mayor Giuliani, whose failed 2008 presidential bid was based entirely on politicizing 9/11, was the perfect person for Romney to appear with while politicizing a world event and simultaneously criticizing someone for politicizing a world event.
“I think politicizing (the killing bin Laden) and trying to draw a distinction between himself and myself was an inappropriate use of the very important event that brought America together, which was the elimination of Osama bin Laden,” Romney said.
In a further display of hypocritical behavior, Romney then politicized the death of Chris Stevens, US ambassador to Libya, who was killed during a violent rampage aimed at protesting an anti-Islamic film made by a very unintelligent and irrelevant American idiot. Romney said that an early response from the administration seemed to sympathize with the attackers who were protesting an obscure film by a California filmmaker that ridiculed Islam’s Prophet Muhammad. President Obama, in response to Romney’s politicizing of the death of an American overseas, said that the response was not his nor was it approved by his office.
“The president takes responsibility not just for the words that come from his mouth, but also for the words that come from his ambassadors , from his administration, from his embassies, from his state department,” Romney said. “They clearly sent mixed messages to the world. The statement that came from the administration — and the embassy is the administration — the statement that came from the administration was a statement which is akin to apology. And I think was a severe miscalculation.”
So, it seems if your name is Romney, it’s okay to politicize an international death, but if you’re running against Romney for President, then you can’t.
Now, over to Jim with the weather. Jim?
